I have the new Tromix hand guards in hand, and they will be shippping to MississippiAutoArms.com on 3/4/08, for distribution.

Price is $85. The hand guard comes with the Tromix mounting bracket and screw.

I will have the rail kits for the hand guard ready to ship in about 10 days.

These are an EXCELLENT product and a huge improvement over the Tapco Galil style ones. They are much more solid feeling, fit tight without any mods, are flat on the bottom for mounting rails, pre milled for ventilation, come WITH all hardware needed to attach, and at this price are cheaper than the Tapco one with the same mods.

Great job Tony :super:

They also work perfect with the vented steel upper I've been putting on my Saigas.

another shameless photo op...

Perhaps we should change your moniker to "Shameless"?

Tony,

I need your opinion on this. I asked MAA if the Tapco rail kit would fit your Tromix handguard and they said it would. I'm skeptical of this answer because the Tapco rail kit is made to fit a Tapco handguard which is rounded along the bottom whereas the Tromix handguard is flat.

Nevermind. MAA corrected themselves: It won't fit.

The side rails are 2" long and the bottom rail is 3" long.

WOW. Talk about supply and demand. I noticed the Tromix Do-it-yourself trigger is now $10K on the MAA site..............

Lage attempted to make the hand guard in green, but it didn't match the Tapco green grip very well. The Lage unit was more brownish......it looked kinda shitty to be honest with you. I am not sure if Lage plans on taking another stab at it or not. You are the first guy that has requested one in green to date, so it might not even be worthwhile.
