Got my stuff Friday night, got busy tearing down the Saiga and drilling out rivets and tack welds right away. then cut open the pistol grip nut hole. then cut off the rear tang and made it flush and smooth. I did have to trim the rcvr "stock block's" "legs" down about 3/16" so that it would slide in all the way into the rcvr. hunted all day today, then just now finished up trimming and detaching the trigger guard. drilled a new hole for the front of the tg. all I need now is a couple of machine bolts and nuts to fasten it on. paint. then I can reassemble. I have a lever to the right side, that is like a bolt hold open or something. that popped out while I was drilling so I have to figure out how that went together (spring) and then the hammer that is in the Saiga, is shorter on the axle than what the tapco version is, and if you want to use the bolt hold open (think thats what it is anyway) you have to have the shorter axle. no big whoop though. will get pics up when complete or if I get stuck.
