jujaro 0
People tell me please how to clear the thin lead layer which rests on the bore after shooting lots of shells (well not so many). Do you use some chemicals ? Or brass brush ?What is better ? Maybe both the chemicals and the brass brush can be harmfull for the bore...tell me about your experience. USMC_LB 4
I have heard several people here talk abou how tough the barrels are on the Saiga's. I wouldn't worry too much about that. Just throw that plastic brush comes with the brush and go purchase a good ol' bronze brush. I prefer to use Hoppe's No. 9 solvent but about any nitro solvent will work. I believe that all the Saiga shotguns ( 12 gauge ) have chrome lined bores. LB
duffman 1
Bronze brush with some Butch's Bore Shine, does the job for me.
jujaro 0
I'll try the bronze brush. I think all the Siaga's have chrome covered bores, at least mine is, and hope that neither the bronze brush nor some kinda chemical will cause chrome fading...
