waltham_41 52
Good luck! I googled for hours and looked at every gun auction site I could find and never found any for sale. I even checked the mfg site of the Brown and Silver Bear ammo and they list their bird shot but do not list themselves as making the 00 buck anymore I found Silver bear #7 1/2 shot and one place said they had #8 shot but no 00 buck Edited February 13, 2008 by waltham_41
Bonesaw 1
I believe they still make it, but none has been imported for awhile. I've heard that some people are working with them to get them to import some again, but that's just hearsay.
cbear 0
The stuff I got from the sportsmans guide a few years ago was made by Barnaul, they even had a Saiga on the box. It was 0 buckshot if I remember correctly.

It was 0 buckshot if I remember correctly. That is what I kept seeing as I searched, it was around a few years ago but dried up. I searched all of the major gun auction sites hoping to find someone selling a box or even a part of a box, but no luck
G O B 3,516
The Barnul steel came in 00 buck, and slugs. As I remember. Ammo porn: 4 boxes 0000 buck, 1 box K8 ? The loose rounds are 0000. I believe the 0000 is 00. And the box of K8 is hand labled 00 on the flap. Edited February 18, 2008 by G O B

ernestmayhand 10
What are the advantages of the steel case shells vs. the plastic case shells? Is there pros and cons?
yuuts 0
Are the steel shells readily reloadable? Just curious. And what about these? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=93132159 Brass cased old military rounds.
waltham_41 52
What are the advantages of the steel case shells vs. the plastic case shells? Is there pros and cons? With the steel or brass case, you can load a mag and put it in the shotgun with the bolt closed, and it will not deform. You can be sure that it will load first time every time which can be a lifesaver if you need it to go boom fast.
THE_HUNTER 2
Are they short enough to fit all 10 in an AGP mag for overall length????????????
G O B 3,516
They are the right length, but due to thicker rims they will only feed from the top position. When the mags get a lot more wear they should feed a whole mag. It is the tight grooves for the rim, and the bump in the rear at the second shell position that boogers up the feed from 2 through 10 position. It ALMOST works now. A few hundred rounds should loosen it up. Dosen't bother me at this point, I only use them in the top position and then only in the mags I keep loaded. If they ever become available again I might work the mags for better feed with them, but as scarce as they are at this point I reserve them for top load only, and they work flawlessly there.
