I haven't used any in my Saiga,yet,but hi-vel.com has the best assortment. I have done business with these folks several times. They take care of their customer.

I have used their ammo in

mossberg 590 and Winchester combat shotguns,no noticed bad effects. When using

Fireball/Dragon's Breath ammo,I do clean the guns right away. A steady diet of flechette and strung buck "might" be tough on barrels.

have not tried with mine. there isnt any place that i can find that sells for a reasonable price, try fire quest (i think its firequestinc.com)

I have used several of them in my S12 and only flares in my S410 all with good results. The bird bombs or starburst don't cycle all the time in my S12, just not enough behind them.

back once upon a time, in NY, where it was legal, before I moved to FL, where almost all of it is ILLEGAL, I fed shotguns about everything.

 

The only useful rounds are buckshot, birdshot, slugs, birdbombs, and flechettes. the rest is garbage.

 

I answered my side of my experiences on this forum about it a while ago. too lazy to search for it.

 

I have let off tracers at animals at night, but they were only once at a racoon that was out if its mind that had to go. He was packed up in plastic and burned the next day though....(rabies).

 

15 pellet 00 buckshot has been my favored shotgun round out of all of them, with slugs a close second.....

I guess it's ok to shoot rifled slugs,.. hollow point or other through saiga 12?

Or any kind of 12 gauge slugs?
