LBSBandit 0
I am finaly going to pull the trigger and get a Saiga .223 but I was wondering what kind of groups you guys are shooting scoped @ 100 yards. Thanx. Ray
pogy 5
My .223 Saiga came came with documentation from the factory that indicated a 108 mm group (4.25") @ 100 yds when they tested the rifle. The details of their test are not available. You can do quite a bit better than that with decent ammunition. I have shot 2" groups @ 100 yds with a POSP 4X24 scope. topmaul 42
Depends on ammo but two inches is pretty regular.
TonyRumore 1,332
I tested two guns awhile back, both scoped with a 12x Leupold Target optic. 5 different types of ammo, 5 shot groups at 100 yards, 2 groups with each type of ammo....one gun averaged 2.75", the other 3.0". BlackDog 1
The best group I have shot with my Saiga scoped is a 2.4xx" group with Federal 50 grain. I've shot this thing a lot and have tried a lot of various ammo. I have been trying a bunch of handloads and the best I have gotten so far is 2.2xx". I'd have to dig thru my saved targets to give you exact #'s, but most amoo gives me 4"-5" groups. Edited February 27, 2008 by BlackDog
