topmaul 42
Folks, I would like very much to set up a match announcement section so that shooters can eventually find a near by match. I have been posting matches and every now and then some one responds "hey that is just down the street I had no idea" so let's get the word out

Paladin 37
Just did the match yesterday with these guys @ mi3gun.com and it was a hoot! VERY nice set up. With the "helicopter", the door breaching blind stage, and the dark house, it was simply outstanding. I would highly recommend shooting a match with them. It's almost a 4 hour drive for me, so I won't be up every month. But there were four of us and everyone agreed it was well worth trip.
Breacher1 0
I recently shot my first 3 gun competition at the Blue Water Sportsman Club and it too was a "hoot". I just registered for the up coming match in August with the mi3gun group. How challenging was it and how did you do?? Just did the match yesterday with these guys @ mi3gun.com and it was a hoot! JMD 0
Hey All! I'm new here and hope not to step on any toes or face plant with my first post. We are doing the IPSC L4 Pan American Shotgun Championship at the Rockcastle Shooting Center at Park Mammoth Resort in Kentucky July 29 - August 1. There will be 30 stages of shotgun requiring a minimum of 350 rounds. Side matches will require more and misses are entirely up to you. It will be an international field with some of the worlds best shotgun/any gun shooters attending. You can access the IPSC rules through the website along with other details like sign up and cost... Many of you may have met Linda Chico the MD. The Co-MD is Larry Houck who used to run the Summer Blast. Please check out the website: www.panamericanshotgun.org Any questions follow up with Linda or ask here and I will try and be prompt. One word of advice is know how your gun patterns at every possible distance! Some slugs, buck (9 round) and shot. Obviously those of you on this forum are serious. This match will test you and be serious fun. One major sponsor is Makers Mark. We aim to please! Joel
going12220 125
8th of May 2010 at the TriState Gun Club in Daleville, AL http://www.tristategunclub.org/dotnetnuke/ for their 3 gun match they are planning at this point an all shotgun match. There should be about 6 stages using mostly 7-½ birdshot and some slugs. This is a good fun group to shoot with and for a local match they put on a great show. Usually about 30 shooters show up to these matches and it would be great to see some more Saiga owners come to this one (I think there are only 3 of us around here) 8:00 sign up and safety briefing, shooting starts at 9:00. The mi3gun.com matches are "outlaw" format. They don't fall under the uspsa umbrella which allows them to do some pretty unique things. The emphasis is on problem solving and they give you a lot of freedom to shoot the stages. Hope to see you guys out there this weekend for the last monthly match. If you want to shoot the CHAMPIONSHIP match, you should visit www.mi3gun.com and get your applications in. It's been filling up pretty quickly.
rjrivero 50
I go t this email yesterday and thought I'd share in case anyone was interested. First off YOU DO NOT NEED ALL 3 GUNS TO SHOOT OUR MATCHES. If you have a rifle and pistol you can shoot the shotgun stages with your pistol. Our goal is to get as many shooters to the club for matches as possible. Also due to the economy and ammo prices rim-fire caliber pistols and rifle are allowed at the matches. There are no divisions as it is "run what you brung" I don't see much sense in buying quality equipment and not being able to shoot it. For those of you who do not know we have a multigun match once a month at our club. The matches are held at the U.C.O.A. club in Findlay' date=' OH located at 6943 Twp Rd 243. The matches start at 12:00 p.m. and setup starts at 8 a.m. and anyone that helps setup and tear down shoots for free. Chamber flags are required for all long guns. If you do not have them they will be available for $1.00 each. The matches consist of one rifle stage, one shotgun stage, and one pistol stage there will also be 2 multigun stages consisting of rifle/shotgun, shotgun/pistol or pistol/rifle. NO STEEL CORE AMMO. Rim-fire caliber pistols and rifles are allowed at the matches. The match is "loosely" based on a I.D.P.A. match. We use I.D.P.A. targets and scoring. This is a great chance for shooters to become more familiar with all of their weapons and put them into realistic scenarios. The maximum round count for the matches is 150 rounds rifle, 50 rounds pistol 25 rounds birdshot and 25 rounds of slugs. New shooters should arrive by 11:30 for a safety overview. We will be using the 100 yd range for the rifle stage at a few of the matches this year. Anyone that has questions can feel free to email paul.ruhland@ucoa-findlay.com We will be instituting some changes for all future matches. First off if you want to shoot our match you will need to email me and register. We are limiting the matches to 40 shooters so we can move along quickly and allow the match to run smoother for everyone. Registration for each match will begin on the Monday following the match. If you want to shoot email me at paul.ruhland@ucoa-findlay.com We are also looking for shooters that would be interested in volunteering to be Range Officers at the matches. We would provide you with a training class. Range Officers are the people that run everyone through the stages. We will need at least 3 Range Officers every match. If you are interested in becoming a range officer please email me back a.s.a.p. We are increasing the cost of the matches to $25.00 per shooter. If you setup and tear down you shoot for free. This will be limited to the first 5 shooters that email me on the Monday after the match. All shooters will pay $25.00 at the beginning of the match. If you helped setup and tear down after everything is put away I will refund your $25.00. If you stick around and help tear down you will be refunded $10.00. If you wish to leave that is fine and the $25.00 will be your match cost. U.C.O.A. Multigun will be presenting the 2nd annual Man Vs. Man Steel Challenge at the U.C.O.A. club in Findlay, OH on 9/11/10. This is an event in which you will be shooting against another person in a double elimination format. You will be shooting rifle at 100 yds and you will also be shooting pistol and shotgun at various distances. Each discipline will be double elimination. There will also be 2 fun shoot stages. This will be a pre-registration event and will be limited to 24 shooters. We will also be having a cook out after the shoot and food will be included in the price of the match. The price of the match will be $25.00 per shooter. There will be trophies for 1st and 2nd place in each division and also door prizes that everyone has a chance to win. ]If you are interested please email me back a.s.a.p. at paul.ruhland@ucoa-findlay.com If you are interested I need you to email me at paul.ruhland@ucoa-findlay.com I need everyone to pre register by August 21st We need the entry paid for in advance to pay for the food, trophies and prizes. Feel free to email me back with any questions you may have. Thanks, Paul Ruhland Match Director Edited August 11, 2010 by rjrivero

monsterdan 1
Attention all Shot gunners in the Northwest. My name is Dan Kim and I'm a member of Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club in Bremerton Washington. We have started a monthly Tactical Shotgun run and gun style program at our club. October 1st was our first demo with 3 stages, 22 competitors came out to shoot with many positive remarks. We plan on having 4 to 5 stages to shoot November 6th Sunday and start shooting by 9:30am. NORTHWEST Multigun rules: We have no affiliation with NW multigun in Oregon, but those are a great set of rules and we will go with those for now. Questions or comments contact Dan Kim: monsterddan@gmail.com
