Behold! I have found a detachable magazine fed shotgun that is patterned after the American Iconic Assault Weapon.

It is made in Turkey, designated the 'Safir T-14'.

Appears to be blowback operated, no gas port. Removable front sight array, nearly indistinguishable (unlike the saiga) from an M-4/M-16 from the profile view. Magazines for shells share the appearance of the NATO 5.56 metallic magazines.

LOOKS HAWT! Sadly, I suspect this shotgun is either a 20 or 16 gauge, or is using a gauge of shotgun shell I am not familiar with.

... This part of the saiga forum looks absolutely destitute, so I might post this elsewhere if no one notices...

Correction I had first post of this on Sep 5 2007 :haha:http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=19234&hl=

I stand corrected, but only on one foot since it was only one week earlier. Good catch.

Either way the 5th or the 12th close enough, but it would be nice if it was inported here unless maybe the upper is compatable with a regular AR lower receiver

Guess they're old news.

Are they available to import? if so, any idea who imports them, and under what model or title?
