The_Vigilante 14
Where can I buy new trigger guards for the .308? Have checked several places but haven't seen the trigger guards.
Fredness 1
I carefully cut the factory one off, turned it 180* and welded in the new spot. Works great.
macbeau 902
Try K-VAR or Centerfire Systems... Macbeau sends...
The_Vigilante 14
macbeau, Thanks for the reply. Centerfire Systems reports this item sold out and discontinued. I checked the trigger guards from K-VAR but am not sure they will work on the Saiga as I don't see the mag-catch on the triggers advertised. Do I actually need the mag-catch? macbeau 902
Ooops... Sorry about that. Mine came from K-Var and had the mag catch already installed. It's probably best to get one with the mag catch already installed 'cause the spring in there is a PITA to re-install! That, and you'll need a new pin to set the catch in with. Here are some other places to look... http://www.akparts.com/ http://www.dpharms.com/ Also, screw kits (for AK builds) can for these can be gotten from TAPCO [ http://www.tapco.com/proddesc.aspx?Id=a5d0...57-8abac54ce1e5 ] or here [ http://www.ak-47.org/page2.html ] Otherwise, you may want to conside the other option of recycling the existing TG.... The_Vigilante 14
I saw that trigger guard while surfing earlier today. It apparently won't fit a .308! Pity!
Deadeye 325
I wonder why they wont fit. Hopefully tony will make them for the rifles too when i am ready to convert my
