paprotective 362
Spotted them for $399 and wanted to know if I should grab one? Takes AK mags and has 14/1 LH thread on it already. Just noticed the Saiga 308 21" (IZ139) have vaporized (were $399)?? Anyone have a lead on them?? Or when there do in??
nalioth 405
If it's a new model AES-10B Hell, yes! This is the closest you'll get to an actual Romanian military 7.62x39 RPK here. If it's an original AES-10 RUN RUN RUN This is a WASR with a long thin barrel shoved into it. Edited March 19, 2008 by nalioth
Combat Medic 5
how do you tell the difference?
nalioth 405
how do you tell the difference? AES-10 AES-10B You pay attention to the sales ad, and read the side of the rifle. It is actually easy to tell them apart. The AES-10 has a spindly little stick barrel, while the AES-10B has a nice thick barrel.
paprotective 362
Its the THIN one. I just figured $399 is better than the $569+ I've been seeing around. Wonder if you can chagne the barrel??

Wonder if you can chagne the barrel?? If you are looking at Classic Arms, this is an AES-10B for $399, not the crappy original AES-10 Clicks Below are pictures of actual Romanian military RPKs, and you can see that aside from the folding stock and some internal giblets, they are virtually the same as the AES-10B. paprotective 362
These are the AES10 at Centerfire then that I saw. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/index.asp...&ProdID=648 Better off going with Classic's AES10B for the same price.
