chevy292 0
Hey everyone, I was wondering if you guys could share some thoughts on how to mount a scope on my rifle. I know you can replace the front handgaurd with one that has built in rails...however that is just too expensive. Any other alternatives out there? Here is the model that I have. Thank you in advance!!! I'm extremely new to this... Joshua
longhunter-CO 0
Don't you have a scope rail on the other side of the weapon?
chevy292 0
yes but i read a bunch of posts here of people saying it wasn't good because you have to rezero the scope everytime you take it off to clean the gun.
IndyArms 10,186
Well, thats SLIGHTLY true... you will have to re-zero a LITTLE BIT... I would guess that at 100 yards it will probably be off by an inch... although with that rifle, if you are getting smaller than 1" groups at 100 yards, you are doing something very special. Also... as an AK platform... cleaning really can be done MINIMALLY... meaning once every several months... as long as you are NOT USING CORROSSIVE AMMO, it will go a LONG TIME between cleanings... and still function very well...
