John_pro2a 3
Is there an actualy advantage to the galil style charging handle? Why do it, over the stock style?
jrance@iacwds.com 716
You can retain your hold on the pistol grip and easily cycle without tilting the weapon way over to the left. I have one each and like them both but I do like the Galil style a little better. 1911
BobAsh 582
Yeah, it's easier for a right-handed person to work the bolt.
gpqueen 545
It is a big help if you are going to shoot any competitions with it. In case you like to run the gun dry like I do every time, You can keep the gun on target and reach over the top to chamber a round. kellysguy 1
If you don't have a bolt hold open and don't like trying to fight a full mag into the gun, it's easier (imo) to hold the gun with the bolt open while loading a full mag in.
