LKB3rd 0
http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?...104a0dbef84ddc8 .30 cal bore, 14:1 lh thread. Isn't the x51 slightly larger daimeter than a x39? Will this brake work on my Saiga .308?
Steve in Allentown, PA 5
That style of brake absolutely works on an S-308. I strongly suggest you go to Dinzag's website and check out the various muzzle brakes he offers. He worked up one of these kinds of brakes with a 9/16 LH thread per my specifications. Make sure you get a crush washer also so you can index the brake on the barrel. The recoil reduction is quite noticeable.
Chaps 0
New guy here . . . How is the muzzle blast with a brake installed on a 308? I see & hear brakes on more powerful calibers at the range and its on the verge of being uncomfortable shooting next to those guys. Not an issue?

The brakes, redirecting muzzle blast, will also rechannel sound and are loud. That is the guy next to you's problem, not yours. If he doesn't have adequate ear protection for the position next to his, I'd doubt it's adequate for his own gun unless it's a .22.
