jhereg 0
I had to get in the gun safe for another reason today so I decided to take a family picture. btw, one of them isn't a pistol. There's a SBR in the picture too. Edited June 16, 2008 by jhereg
Vultite 57
I like AR pistols, but only the gas piston type that elimate the buffer tube, it looks aweful in my book, BTW DO NOT FIRE A AR PISTOL WITH A SHARK BRAKE, its a slap in the face lol....i wish oly still made the skeleton frame pistols, those were the best design.... I wouldn't like ones w/o the buffer tube. I don't care how they look. I care how they shoot. If you get rid of the receiver extension, you get rid of a lot of the reason for an AR15 pistol IMO. I can shoot an AR15 pistol as well as a rifle for CQB uses. It's just more uncomfortable & can't have a stock or pistol grip. An 11.5" pistol makes a great travelling companion. IndyArms 10,186
I think they are HIDEOUS... Kinda like AR15 parts on an AK... somethings were just not meant to be done... Thats one of them...

Norseman 0
I like them just fine. There is something to be said about a fairly accurate, decent range, one hander. Its also nice that it fits in the top drawer of my roll around tool chest. -E
kresk 10,063
They look kool but are not practical at all.
patriot 7,197
We had a poser oops! poster on here named AR15pistolpimp. I suggest you do a search. Entertaining reading.
BobAsh 582
I'd rather have an SBR.
wally 2
the buffer tube just kills the look of it the only good looking AR pistol is the one Olympic Arms builds with no buffer tube
IndyArms 10,186
I would have to agree with that... I rescind my above statement slightly... I think they are HIDEOUS... UNLESS they do not have a buffer tube... then they are OK... I like the TOP TWO best!!!
Twinsen 86
Why not just get an AK folder? I don't get it.
wally 2
the real ones have a different style of gas tube unlike the photo shopped guns in the pic above
IndyArms 10,186
the real ones have a different style of gas tube unlike the photo shopped guns in the pic above Umm.... yeah... The REAL ONES were in the FIRST picture from the OP... *I* photoshopped the "boing" tubes off of them... Well, actually, I paintshop pro 7'd the gas tubes off them! Cause they look HIDEOUS like that...
BullShark012 1
Here's the way to go...I Love mine: Kel-Tec PLR-16 Edited July 4, 2008 by BullShark012
Bayoupiper 738
If you need a pistol then get a pistol. If you need a SBR then get an SBR....................
Norseman 0
An Ar-15 pistol is and SBR without the buttstock and all that silly gov't paperwork. Try shooting one and see if you really need a buttstock, come on its only a .223. -E
BullShark012 1
Yeah Indy, we noticed..... Anyway, I Love my .223 pistol. It fills a niche in my little aresnal. It's Not the AR, it's the Kel-Tec which I love. Highly accurate, and FUN to Boot! Try one, you'll like it! Cheaper than SBR, and Legal stock w/ 30rd. mags & Flash suppressor. Get One While You Still Can...... just MY .02 cents.....
