What other methods did you guys use to install it if you did not have a drill press available? anyone know of a gunsmith that will do it for not so much change or anyone in my area willing to lend a hand? 22_Shooter 1,560 Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 +1 for the hand drill method, in case you don't have a drill press. That's what I did. Just make sure you go straight and slow. Back the tap out often, to get the metal chips out of the bit. If starts to bind up, back it out. If you keep going, your tap will break off in the hole . Sloooooooooow and straight. loki41872 0 Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 Sanded the bottom of the bullet guide and the trunion, then JB Welded the sucker in. 500 rounds later, I still can't jerk it out with pliers. Put a little JB in the hole for the screw and sanded it down. Works pretty well, so far. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
