THE_HUNTER 2
So has anyone tried resealing the military rubberized "battle packs" after they have opened them, maybe by a hot iron or something?????? Ideas??????
Gunfixr 76
Why ??? Just put the ammo in an ammo can, they're watertight. You can also seal ammo up with one of those foodsaver vacuum sealers. When I take ammo out of one of those, I either shoot it, load magazines, or fill stripper clips.
THE_HUNTER 2
It's a nice thick material that would be a good barrier.Hate to toss them when I'm done.
wlnt 2
It's a nice thick material that would be a good barrier.Hate to toss them when I'm done. When I worked in the summer in construction work (while going to college) I remember we used a lot of semi-transparent plastic called "vis-queen" or "bis-queen". You might be able to pick up some scraps at a job site or ask for a piece. It is as thick as a battlepack. You can actually buy vinyl melting irons, in fact I have one I got at ACE hardware. If all else fails you can always use good duct-tape to seal it up, or better yet a good grade of silicone sealer. louielouie
THE_HUNTER 2
Been the duct tape route. Silicone sealer I haven't though.....great idea! Thanks!
Bvamp 604
agree on the silly cone. Get some Aquarium glue. Its better than the bathroom silicone caulk, and comes in a metal resealable tube, akin to toothpaste tubes.
