HerrLar 0
Great forum; new member! Last summer got a Saiga with 16" bbl. and black synthetic forend; after the 2nd magazine the forend fell off! It had fractured right at the screw into 3 pieces. My gunshop guy with whom I've dealt a long time and is eminently fair went around and around with the Florida people for 6 months. He finally got themto break loose with a different forend that we made fit. Mad Smiley! Now the good Smiley stuff - very accurate at 50 with factory stuff; I haven't concocted my own stuff yet. Any suggestions? Also, I bought a side mount scope bracket; what's a decent scope for whatever accuracy a 16 bbl. will produce? Thanks!
abatis 0
I bought an inexpensive but very functional BSA scope from Cabela's for my 308. I was really just looking targeting to 100 yards. The scope is 3 X 9 and has a power luminesence cross hair. I put the same sight on my sons 223 saiga.
