Bayoupiper 738
I picked up a 25rnd Surefire mag at the gun show today. After looking it over and noticing the way the floorplate fits on it I was wondering if you could cut the mag down in a similar fashion to a 10rnd AGP mag. Anyone? johsp1 0
A number of people have stated they cut their 25 round mags down to 20 by cutting at the first rib, so I'm sure you could cut it down to a 10 round mag if you want. You would probably have to cut some coils off the spring as well.
Bayoupiper 738
Not that I was planning on doing so, it just appears that you can. Thanks guys.
cellsworth 21
Yes, you can cut them down. I would be wary of cutting off some of the spring unless you find that it is necessary.
lollygagger 1
Yeah. All the "ribs" on the Surefire mag body above the floor plate are clearly rails to relocate the floor plate if the mag is shortened. Kinda odd...but, kinda trick. LG
