JeffMerr 0
Looking for an inexpensive spring bi-pod, maybe around $30? I see some on Ebay but they seem to be for Airsoft, not sure if these will all work or not? thanks.
IndyArms 10,186
You can get them at walmart... rock mount ( Copies of the Harris) for like 35 bucks... 9" to 13" extendable, spring loaded legs... or stop in at dicks, or bass pro shops, or gander mountain, if any of them are close to you... they will have many to choose from. I went to walmart and all they had was the 9-13", seems kind of long for a Saiga no? most of you guys using that size?
Rogue-Sasquatch 0
You need the longer legs when you're using a 30 rounder in the Saiga... otherwise the bottom of the mag is hitting the ground.
30-40krag dude 2
i have the walmart one as well and so far its worked great. the only problem is if you try and mount to the front sling point, the mounting screw will hit the gas block. i had to trim the bolt down and use JB weld to make sure everything stays tight. JeffMerr 0
I went to Walmart and purchased the bipod you guys are talking about and it wouldn't fit the Saiga. I took off the eyelet and tinkered with it for a while and couldn't figure out how to get it on, didn't seem like it fits.

gunnysmith 4
http://www.cdnninvestments.com/arlidupirabi.html http://www.cdnninvestments.com/arpicrailfor.html I just cut the rail to whatever length needed. Just remember to find a good balance point for the bipod and leave some rail out front to mount accessories. Edited September 7, 2008 by gunnysmith
JeffMerr 0
So do I just bolt the rail onto the plastic foregrip?

I believe the sling stud that screws into the Russian threaded hole is the same one that's for a Mossberg 500 shotgun.
gunnysmith 4
So do I just bolt the rail onto the plastic foregrip? Yes I used square nuts inside the forearm and put some epoxy on the to hold the nuts in place.
