my762buzz 141
The barrel wall looks a bit thin for this kind of mod to allow widely available choke tubes. Maybe I missed a good thread about this when I used the search engine. Has anyone had success doing this? Edited August 19, 2008 by my762buzz

BobAsh 582
Tony has done quite a few of them for competition guns. The Saiga has an exceptionally thick barrel.
Ronswin 26
I have cut the barrel down on my Saiga from 22 to 19 inches and had Colonial Chokes do the internal threading for Remchokes. The threading was ok, but the neanderthals there bent the barrel and refused to accept it back for repair. The barrel on the Saiga 12 is quite thick compared to your average Remington or Winchester scattergun tube.
