BuffetDestroyer 969
That is quite awesome! How does the quick detach stock work (I see the protruding pin)? Do you have pics?
TonyRumore 1,332
The pin just pulls straight up and the stock slides out the back of the receiver. The pin goes through the entire depth of the stock and is under quite a bit of tension in the plastic stock, so it won't just come out on its own. Tony
jerrytofdallas 1
Does this ship with a welders helmet and gloves or are they additional cost? My 8" with Monster Comp produces a pretty spectacular fireball with 3" mag 00 buck but bet it doesn't come close to this little 6" beast. Your shotguns are addicting as hell. BobAsh 582
It kicks even harder than the 8".

jerrytofdallas 1
It kicks even harder than the 8". ...which even with my Enidine buffer is about all I can handle with 3" mag loads. I know... PUSSY
BearCreek 0
What is the going price for this little jewel? Is it a standard model or a special order one of a kind?
BearCreek 0
I think it needs to be modeled with the MD20
lance 4
OMG, nice! can someone give a detailed explanation to how different these shoot than a regular shotty? Obviously they are for home defense/slug or buckshot only. is it worth the $200 tax thing? Can you make a saiga 12 into a pistol> and avoid the tax stamp? kinda like the AR pistols? what are the rules on this?
Thor's Hammer 33
Wowsers! 6 inches? Someones' gonna have to hold a shotgun shell in their hand and hit it with a hammer to beat that. You sure make some nice stuff! The huge fireball from the muzzle will curl around and singe your arm hairs. It's a premium experience It's harder to make than the 8"...the gas rod comes all the way out on the ejection cycle and Tony has a few tricks to keep it going back in. Even with the super-short gas system it will only cycle high-pressure loads. You can't make a shotgun into a pistol, since it was originally built with a buttstock. The AR's you mention are built on new receivers. It's possible to build an AK-based shotgun pistol as an AOW to avoid the tax stamp, but Tromix won't be offering one any time soon. Destroying a new S-12 for parts and then reassmbling it into a new receiver would eat up your $195 savings and then some. Plus, when you go SBS you get to have a buttstock...and you do want a buttstock on these little ones IMO. Edited August 20, 2008 by BobAsh
BobAsh 582
6 inches? Someones' gonna have to hold a shotgun shell in their hand and hit it with a hammer to beat that. Actually, the entire barrel is 6", that is from end to end including the chamber. It's chambered for 3" shells, so when you look down the muzzle there's only a 3" effective barrel. You're unlikely to see a working gas-operated gun that is shorter. Edited August 20, 2008 by BobAsh

I'm guessing $500 out the door! Anything under $2K and I'd be surprised. That's with the tax stamp included, which is 2 Benjamins up front. I'd hate to mess with anyone whose bodyguards carried that little sumbitch.
