I went the other way and just carved a new notch so te trigger group rested in their neatly. Thanks for the input though, other than it siting in there nicely is there anything else, extra part or any kinda weird stuff I have to do? (I don't think there is)

Grinding the arm is "the other way".

Everyone usually just grinds a new slot in their receiver.

Nope, the trigger groups work the same, no matter how many hooks they have.

Question:

Is there really a benefit of adding a double hook trigger over the single hook? Any time I had a receiver with a single hook, I bought a US made single hook for it.

Just curious...

Only in your mind.

Some folks swear the double hooks have a smoother pull....

Some folks swear the single hooks have a smoother pull...

I've got both types in various Kalashnikovs, and I honestly can't tell the difference.

Grind the arm angle to fit?

Done correctly, this will also act as an overtravel stop.

Not, very professional, but it works fine.

hey, thats a really good idea. thanks. i just went with a single hook, but maybe after 1 or 2 thousand rounds i'll give that a shot.

as for a function test, do you just grind, install, repeat as needed?

I had a single hook trigger to look at while I ground on the double hook model.

Grind to approximately appropriate > test fit > touch up as needed

I'll do it differently when I do it again (and there will be a next time, cuz I'm plumb out of single hook G2s)
