CHAOS and fans:

I posted the below poll to help gather some market data for future magaine projects. So far, it looks like there is a good amount of interest in the ultra-compact ten round drum concept.

Thank you,

I thank this a great way to get input, and direction. :super:

You are quite welcome. I can't imagine what it is like trying to design a product and not knowning what people want, so I just put together a list of possibles and had at. I think cost on the small drums is going to be a major issue, which is why I, myself, lobbied for a 12 round design. Otherwise a lot of people will just say "well I can get 10 round AGP mags for ** dollars less."

At any rate, the "data pool" is starting to get larger. I think I will give it a week before I try to identify any strong trends.

Cameron - You are tracking my thoughts on this exactly! I want a "compact" drum to replace the mag hanging down in certain situations. Round count of 8 - 10 is great. Size matters for my use of this product, if size doesn't matter I will use my MD-20 Drum or a 8 rd Stick. Looking forward to being able to send you some money. :)

10 round compact drum would be a must have item. Could they possibly come to market without the nightmare pre-order fiasco?

But what are we supposed to do now that MD Arms is shipping stuff? Seriously though I think everyone around here has had enough of drum wars for a while... :ded: Well, go for it, get it done right and we'll be waiting...

Rejoice that the MD20 is shipping, I am! I think that people who want high cap drum mags will buy MD20, people wanting compact drum mags will buy Chaos, and the WM, well they'll be making those 30 rd spare rims for Honda :haha:

Hey Cameron, the magazines are a really good idea. I myself do not like the AGP'S, too large and a tactical blunder in my opinion. Just a little off the subject, ever thought about designing a magazine well for the s12, s20???? No one is making these and it might be a good item to go along with the magazines. It also might help in reducing reloading time. Might cut reloading time to maybe 3-4 seconds?????

I could manufacture a damn fine magwell for these Saiga 12s and who knows, just might, But, here comes the but, you wouldn't be able to use your old mags, or at least not without some work to the mag itself. And cost is factor as well, people that I talked to just don't want to spring for the cost, new magwell means, new mags with a straight front landing, sure I could put something together to deal with the front radius, hell I designed and built a slick magwell lockup for the SKS, way faster than the AR15 lockup, on drop and lock, reloading. Getting rid of that gay ass 3" tag that hangs out there! For you SKS lovers these will, hopefully be on the market early 2009! Meg well, two 20rd, or 30rd megs, around $130.00, but no promises. I can tell you this, a megwell for the S12 is not at the top of my list! : :nothing:
