20rds on a Closed bolt.

Recommended Posts

I did it.... although it seriously deformed the top round and I had to use three hands to do it....

Turn your head sideways to the Right...... A fresh round looks like: O The Top round after seating the drum on closed bolt: 0 :grimace:

If we look through the back cover of the mag (Those with Black covers will have to suffer) we'll see the "feed-diamond"/"Spinny-stopper" ... Mike, Can I mod that thing a bit, relieving some of the right (Non-feed side) to allow the drum to turn an extra 1/8" - 1/4" ? Or was there a specific reason that the stop is the size it is?

I just think that removing a small bit of material would allow for full-mag reload on a closed bolt.

Just throwing that out there!

Good drum Mike!
