adavid02 0
I am working on my conversion ever so slowly and I am watching the YouTube vids of that guy doing his. He has to grind something down to install his BHO. Am I going to have to do that?
gunnysmith 4
The right side of the hammer pivot pin hole needs to be shorter. It gives room for the BHO to be added. If you don't install the BHO, No grinding is needed.
zone1935 5
I used a Tromix FCG in my s-12 with BHO without any problems or mods by me.
FenderFreek 0
Haven't done my S-12, but on the 7.62 I know for a fact that you have to take off about 1/16" of material to let it go in clear. I used a dremel, but you could use a flat file to take off some material. Go slow, check for fit constantly - you can always take away, but not add.

Doc S 0
I thought I wanted BHO on my 7.62 conversion. I grinded the right side of the hammer pivot pin hole and got it to work properly. After shooting it, I decided it was a waste of time for me... I don't like having it right at my trigger finger. For my other 2 conversions (.308 and S12), I didn't do it... I think I'll eventually cut a notch in my safety levers so they can perform that function... just my .02 worth... God Bless, Doc S
