ernestmayhand 10
I'm curious what this part of the conversion process is for. Obviously it says what it says I know. I had my S12 converted by Tony (amazing job by the way, I've said it before I'll say it again). I did my own conversion recently on my new 7.62 and was wondering if this is just a S12 thing or what? Tony's welding and refinishing work is so amazing I can't tell what he did!!
BobAsh 582
The rear of the receiver is remachined so that when the Tromix Rear Plate is installed, the stock will be at the correct angle; not just for the cosmetic line of the weapon but for correct cheek/shoulder weld and sight picture.
