2 3/4? I think the drum is not rated for 3"

So the S&B and estate rounds are a no go? I'm trying to get bulk #4 buckshot rounds that would work and aren't too expensive.

Correct,until Mike gets around to making the 3" drum which will take the round crimped 2 3/4" shells...but that may be awhile.

He meant roll crimped rounds the measure 2.75 inches unfired. They will not work. Standard shells available labeled 2-3/4 will in most cases fit fine. As was discussed in another thread, 2.40" unfired is the maximum length for the the production drum. Here is a list of shell lengths of what I have on hand. It is a 10 rnd average length.

Estate Buckshot Load OO Buck 9 pellet 2-3/4" - 2.3166" GO

Winchester Super X Rifled Slugs HP 1oz. Slug 2-3/4" - 2.3872" GO

Wolf Power Rifled Slug 1 oz. Slug 2-3/4" - 2.3549" GO

B&P Big Game Slug 1-1/8oz. Slug 2-3/4" - 2.3854" GO

B&P Big Game- Pallettoni 9 pellet 00 Buck 1-1/6 oz. 2-5/8" (?) - 2.4495" NO GO
