SPSERG 0
Has anyone installed a muzzle brake on their 308 Saiga yet? I see that 308 For life had one installed by a gun-shop. Has anyone had any sucess with the job themselves??
bspring 0
You need access to a mig or tig welder, Jig it in place and weld away. just depends on your skills, I'm not sure if I would gas weld it. Bill
Sheik Yerbouti 0
Not on a Saiga, but I have put muzzle brakes on many other MBR as AWs. My fovorite method is blind pinning. That's the easiest way for an amateur or WECSOGger to do it. My second favorite way is silver solder, but I don't use it much, anymore. Welding seems to be a little drastic for barrels to me. ppro 0
Some very good tools and brakes are obtainable at http://dynasystems-ltd.com/GunFile/Products.html They proved a split nut threading tool and a centering device for centering and threading bbls for brake installation...... Looks to me like you could thread the barrel pretty easy this way....then high temp german silver soder it in place or spot weld or whatever. Paul
