cpileri 0
for about 40 bucks CDNN sells side mounts, one with rings affixed and one with rail and seperate rings, which they advertise as 'will fit shotguns'. the saiga's them selves are ad'd as having a built in rail, so are these side mounts necessary? are they solid? any feedback at all? basically, i like the idea, but not if its superfluous or junk. thanks, C-
Gaddis 1,689
I suppose if you wanted to put an exotic red dot (like a C-more) or some type of fancy glass scope on the Saiga the rings or rail might be practical, but since (I believe?) the Kobra (or Cobra, depending on who's spelling it) and most other Russian AK variant scopes are made to work with the built in existing Saiga mounting rail I see no reason to buy those side mounts.
