BlenderWizard 12
Well, as I am waiting on parts to arrive I have been carefully examining my work thus far. I did notice that my trigger guard is slightly off center in the rear. Anyone else do this, or am I just retarded? Edited January 13, 2005 by BlenderWizard
gunslinger308 0
don't worry, it will match the alot of the gas blocks and front sight blocks out there. My 308 gas block is slightly canted to the left. I would have had a cow if I built it and it turned out like that, but it must be within tolerance because the gun functions well. jon elia 0
you could take the rear screw out..and widen(sp) the hole so instead of O it would be ( )...you get the idea so you could straiten it out and then tighten it back up....just an idea

Do as you say, and then do some small welds and remove the screw. Then, weld up the hole, do a little grinding, and we're done!
jon elia 0
ahh so my oversimplified idea wasn't too bad of one good to know others think like i do
brian33x51 1
Be thankful you're moving around the trigger parts and such on an AK and not doing this stuff to an AR15. Hehe
vulcan762 0
To the rear do you mean the hole under the pistol grip isnt in the center of the receiver?
BlenderWizard 12
Yeah, it's the end under the pistolgrip. Mine didn't have a hole there; I had to drill it. I got it maybe 1/16 of an inch off. It's not really noticeable.
