Hello all, I'm a new member here and just purchased an S12 IZ109 today and would like to get my local gun smith every last part he needs to do a full conversion as soon as it gets delivered.

I would like to just get a basic conversion for now just so I can get it configured before the democracks get into office! Yikes!

so far I have.......

Tromix do it yourself trigger guard..$45 = 1 U.S. part

AK saw pistol grip...$25 = 1 U.S. Part

Tromix fire control group....$45 = 3 U.S. parts

I am torn between the ACE folder and Tromix with limbsaver..........anyone who has used either I would greatly apreciate your opinions

do I need a new reciever backplate? ( sorry if this is a dumb question but......well I'm no gunsmith)

please add anything you might see that I didnt..I would hate to not have one little part that holds me up for another week of not shootin stuff.

Thanks for all your help!

From Mississippi Auto Arms:

1. Tromix Do It Yourself Trigger Guard

2a. Stock adapter (not weld on)

2b. Receiver backplate (weld on)

3. Stock (Tromix, ACE, Magpul or M4 style stock)

4. If you purchase a magpul or M4 style stock, you will also need the PN adapter to adapter it to the stock adapter or receiver back plate.

5. Fire Control Group

6. Saw Pistol Grip

Thanks Wakko, should I assume you have all of those parts there at MAA?! If so I wouldnt mind a quote from you for the whole set up.

Thanks again for your time.

Personally:

Tapco G2 trigger group $34

Saw Grip $23

ACE $152

Mod the stock trigger guard $free

---------------------------------

$209

Plus a grip screw and nut $10

So would I still need the reciever backplate and stock adapter?

Good call on the grip screw and nut. What is a receiver backplate?

This comes with everything you need to install the stock:

Or were you trying to piece together a different stock than the skeleton?

Not sure, Wakko from MAA told me in his reply that I needed a reciever backplate
