MikeD 541
I was planning a Saiga-20 drum but was waiting for the election results before I decided to do it or not. After BO won I called it off. Now I am thinking screw that and screw him! I hope to have a prototype in about 2 or 3 weeks. It will be a 2 3/4 only. The great thing about this is I will be able to use the molds I have now. I can make a few extra parts for the molds and some slight mods to the tooling to get this done rather quickly compared to the 12ga drum! I won't be taking preorders on this. Well, I may start a list but I won't be taking a preorder with a deposit. Because I'm not sure if I will get done before a new ban is past. I don't want this thread to turn into a debate on a gun ban or anything but I just don't know what to expect and fell the gamble of this project is a lot higher than it use to be!!! I guess if a new ban is past I will only have an export or LE market for it. I am going to give it an honest shot for the US market though! I may be asking for trouble posting this thread with my limited question answering schedule here but just wanted to let everyone know. I don't have a stock pile of 20's like I did with the 12ga. If anyone is in the Dayton area with a 20ga I would like to possible meet some of you to see how the proto runs in your gun. Let me know if this is you. I want to put it to the test in as many 20's as possible. (before I start shipping them to the customer ) This is a copy of the main thread in my section. Please post your responces there instead: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=32108 Feel free to keep this thread alive in to 20ga section though!

kingjoey 5
Good deal, its about time someone did a magazine for the 20ga, lot of those floating around out there and not a lot of aftermarket support for them.
VanKiller 322
Mike, If you build the drum, I'll build the full auto to test it in..............I'll be buildin the gun anyway most likely...just to complete the "Set"..........VK.

MikeD 541
Here is a pic of a prototype I made. I am going to test fire it tomorrow, Sunday (it will be tomorrow after I go to sleep for a little while and wake up, right now it is still Saturday for me, lol). Oh yeah, I just installed my Chaos, Saiga-20 Tri-Rail. It is killer! The vented rails on it really set it off!

MikeD 541
Here is a video of my first attempt firing the 20ga drum. I feel it went well. It feel apart but didn't have any trouble feeding the rounds before it did. This was also the first time I fired this new saiga-20 as well. I'll be making another attemt very soon. I am very happy with the current results though. Proves to me I am well on the right track on how to modify it to the 20ga. Hope you like it, it's funny!

Oh yeah, I just installed my Chaos, Saiga-20 Tri-Rail. It is killer! The vented rails on it really set it off! I was atually thinking about trading my 20 toward a new 12, I'll hold off for a while and see what happens with this, THANKS. Dean.

6x6pinz 4
just like the changes from the Obama regime changes, we will have to wait for the changes from MD Arms. The only difference is that the MD Arms changes will be worth the wait.

SaigaNoobie 66
IF you ever release this, are you going to call it the MD-20/20 ??? :haha2:
Cobra 76 two 2,677
So where are all the assclowns wanting updates now? Where are the people who like to harass and say "I'll give my money to the first one to come out with a drum mag for the S-20"????
TTR 1
I would like an update. I'll give my money to MD when he comes out with a drum mag for the S-20.
SaigaNoobie 66
I don't even know what you typed, i can't stop staring at that russian beauty from the bond movie. Fuck. Anyway, I'd much prefer a 10 ROUND STICK MAG! WRU Promag/Surefire????? (I'd deal with the promag for a big mag!)
nycGUNguy 61
I have't taken out the S-20 since pheasant hunting season but it would be nice to have a couple of new mags for it. nyclu3
TTR 1
I would be satisfied with 8, 10, 12, 15 round stick mags. Any 1 or all. Anything is better than a 5 round.
madtdogs 0
I would be satisfied with 8, 10, 12, 15 round stick mags. Any 1 or all. Anything is better than a 5 round. Agreed, though i have a pair of 8rnd mags, one is 3" only and one is setup for 2 3/4. I still use my 5rnd mag for shot shells. The other's jam too much.
SaigaNoobie 66
I'd be satisfied with 2 3/4" mags ONLY. I don't even use 3" mags for HD.
madtdogs 0
I'd rather a 2 3/4 mag. Most of my high capacity needs are for shotshell's. And slug's come in both 2 3/4 and 3" so.... yeah
