Alpha Kilo 42
I got a muzzle brake from Chaos today, I was a little worried it was gonna outclass my Saiga by looking a little too refined by being too shiney, but it looks really really good. What you can't see in the pictures is some very fine radial machine marks that give it some texture to match the bbl. It definitely matches well. I was very impressed with how light it is too, it looks like it'd be a lot heavier. Here's some bad pictures of a good product! I'll have to get some more outside on a sunny day, I apologize to Cameron in advance for the bad pics, but I have to admit, I'm a little antsy to post pics of it. Thanks again Cameron! Tactical_T 6
Muzzle device doesn't look too bad. More info on the stock please.....
Alpha Kilo 42
The sights were used surplus sights and a good friend welded them for me. The bbl is a 19", I think it's just the angle of the pics that make it look like a PSL!
Alpha Kilo 42
Oh and the stock was $20 from http://www.tickbitesupply.com/ak.html
Alpha Kilo 42
Here's a couple more pics (I hate when people post such crappy pics in bad lighting, I'll try to make it up soon)
Nailbomb 10,221
I've got the same stock, from the same place. I have a friend with about 13 ak's(he's a big fan of the gas piston design) and Checked out the stocks he used. He had 2 with that one. I chose it becaws it looked different than the normal skeletal stocks for AK's, didn't crowd your had at all(very open grip) and the length made sight acquisition very smooth for me. Others may have different opinions based on arm length. Still waiting on backordered parts to do my conversion, but seeing it on a saiga now makes me very comfortable with my choice. Nice looking saiga Alpha Kilo. Did you have your bolt Chromed? Edited November 29, 2008 by Nailbomb
Alpha Kilo 42
No chrome, just a couple minute polish job with the right compounds/wheels
cplumdrum 0
Nice bead on the HK sights, good wield job. I love the shiny look of the Chaos stuff. I just got the quad rail, it's sick. Gonna pick up a Chaos fore grip too. The great thing about Chaos is the more of their stuff you put on your gun the shinier it looks!
Havoc308 3
I love those skeleton stocks from Dave's. Rugged, comfortable, and inexpensive.

prexigrass 0
Have you tried your chaos break yet? How does the recoil reduction feel? Do you know how it compares to a Tromix Shark break?
