Crackbone 0
Hello, I'm about to continue with converting my new Saiga-12, and I'd like to do it well. Does anyone know the exact angle that the receivers for Saiga-12's from Tromix are machined at? In addition to that, does anyone have any photographs of such a (completed) receiver? Also, does anyone have explicit instructions on reassembling a Saiga-12 FCG? Thanks
BobAsh 582
3 degrees inward at the bottom of the receiver, otherwise your stock will be tilted up. You can kinda see it on this 308 shorty. When finished it just looks like a steel box.

Hellbender 0
Is the cut actually made at 90 degrees to the lower edge of the receiver when cut? The drawing Crackbone made shows the uncut receiver at 90 degrees and it actually angles back slightly. Thanks. Brad Edited December 20, 2008 by Hellbender

TonyRumore 1,332
Put the protractor on the top edge of the receiver and the downward leg of it should slope in towards the muzzle by 2 degrees. Tony
