The rear of some stamped receivers are cut at an angle, not ninety degrees. This pic is of a Chinese MAK 90 with a nonmatching stock. Note the angle and the gap where the wood is incorrectly cut for the Chinese receiver. You may need to click to enlarge the photo.

Thanks, that makes sense. How does one determine which version the stock will fit? What version is the Saiga?
