russianblood 0
I've read a couple recipes for reloading 12 gauge buckshot here and I thought I would share my 20 gauge loading. Fiocchi 3" hulls with F616 primers 26.8gr IMR SR4756 BP SL-20 wads 6 layers of 3 #3 buckshot (18 pellets #3 buck) Overshot card with 8 star crimp I got the recipe from the Ballistic Products Buckshot Loading III manual. I've been using my new Lee Load All II with no shot in the hopper and loading the buckshot by hand to insure proper layering. I'm hoping to give them a thorough patterning at the range tomorrow out of my PolyChoke II equipped S-20.
russianblood 0
Took my buckshot load to the range. It worked well with the full choke setting getting 5 pellets on an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper at 25yds.
