mikkelibob 0
Quick question on the SGM Tactical rear picitinny rail. I get where it connects to where the rear site goes. I don't understand how the back is secured. Does it just rest on it, or is there a screw or pin that it goes on?
rd99fxdl 17
Take the screw out of the tang and put it through the hole in that back of the rail. One thing I like about them is you just need to pop that screw out and flip up the rail to take the rifle apart for cleaning and it sets right back where it was when you put it back down. Succinct and descriptive. I thank thee
Cryogaijin 33
The biggest problem with these rails is avoiding stripping the screw holes. You can mitigate this by putting in a barrel nut, and using a fast-release screw.
