wispa78 1
I've seen a few pictures of saiga rifles wearing wide MP5 forearms. Do they fit like the factory handguard? Is there a special retainer that is needed? This is the style I'm interested in

wispa78 1
Those are pretty sweet , I saw another post about that recently, Redjacket? Bob? Since you mentioned redjacket I went to his website. And what do I find on the front page? This: I'm not clear on what has to be done but at least it's possible. Superhawk138 202
I put a cheap airsoft one on my .410 a while back that held up good. It fit my 7.62x39 as well. x39 Edited February 21, 2009 by Superhawk138
wispa78 1
Thanks for the pics Superhawk. I'm still trying to figure out what type of forearm I want. I like the factory look but I often think about the Galil style handguard too. The MP5 style is nice that it shows off a little more of the gas tube and has a similar look to the factory piece. Decisions, decisions.
KrisFox 69
Hmmm. Might have to "Krink" one and do the MP5 charging handle mod to it as well... Edited February 25, 2009 by KrisFox
MD_Willington 11
The UTG rail type should work too then..!
mini14jac 1
Is the MP5 forearm U.S. made? That was my problem. I didn't have enough compliance parts without using U.S. made forearms. There are a lot of neat parts out there, including the UTG, but I couldn't use them. If I had added a piston, it would have given me more leeway.
