What to rest rifle & parts on during baking/finishing?

Recommended Posts

I am planning on using Brownells Baking Lacquer in matte black to touch up my Saiga after the conversion. It requires 30 minutes at 300* in the oven. I can barely fit the rifle in my oven diagonally. However, what should I rest it on? Surely I don't put it on a cookie sheet! How should I place my rifle and parts when I bake them in the oven?

Put rack on highest and hang with wire underneath

I don't have enough room in my oven to do that, I think. I have a normal kitchen oven. I am trying to fit the whole Saiga in the kitchen oven, disassembled of course. Really though don't put it on the rack right?
