Joeddox 1
(already know about the recall) I was looking into buying the Tapco G2 trigger group but noticed that some places that are selling then say: "Notes: If you are purchase for use in a Saiga, you will need to slightly modify it to make it fit correctly. If you are looking for one that is ready to be dropped in, purchase the Tromix Fire Control Group. " So what do you have to mod for the tapco g2 trigger group? From the instructions it doesn't look like any editing to me: http://www.tapco.com/html/instructions/G2%20Instructions.pdf Edited March 4, 2009 by Joeddox

Joeddox 1
Click. Thanks for the link but that really isn't telling me much on what I would need to do myself.
jswledhed 57
Sorry, wrong link. This one explains why the G2 is not a simply drop in and go on the 12. I believe the Tromix FCG is a drop in for the 12.
saiga wannabe1 0
does this fcg have a bolt hold back?????
Flashbang 34
does this fcg have a bolt hold back????? You re-use the factory Bolt Hold Open. With the Tromix FCG you do not have to modify the hammer or salvage your disconnector spring, it is a drop in part. If you get the Tapco you will have to do some filing to make room for the hammer to fit with the factory BHO and remove a small hump on the hammer as well (for the Saiga 12...the hump does not have to be removed for the rifles)and you would also need to re-use your disconnector spring.
