chromeitout 0
Hello, I have a 7.62x39 that I want to mod a little. I want to add the Russian skeleton stock, 30 round mag, and muzzle brake. If I go with Tapco mags I think I need to change 1 more part right, or does the stock cause me to need 2 because it is a skeleton?
WardenWolf 6
The ATF has ruled the Saiga skeleton stock counts as 1 part because the grip extends from the stock, not the receiver (don't ask me their logic). You will need to go with US-made parts for your muzzle brake, and you will also need to replace 1 more part. You should probably go with a US-made handguard. I'd be safer, though, and replace an additional foreign part such as the gas piston.

I like the be safe approach, but the problem is that I like the factory forend grip, so the one part that I plan to replace is the gas piston.
