megawatt 4 Posted December 29, 2011 Report Share Posted December 29, 2011 A benefit of pulling the barrel for threading it is to also recrown the end for more accuracy. And you will also have the added benefit of being able to change out the flash hider or muzzle break at a later time when you want to by just unscrewing it (provided it was not soldered or welded on of course).
