Dtmarms 0
Ok looking at buying a new 1919 from Ohio Rapid fire I saw their booth at the shot show and was impressed I just was wondering if anyone own one of these peices and if they had any problems so far also Links do the 1919's use the same like as the m-60 a couple of places I have seen somtimes have specials on pre linked 308 ammo (linkers are cheap and so are links but if you can get them both together hell why not) thanks all
TapperMan 0
I've got a home-built 1919, not an ORF one, so I can't comment on that aspect. M60s use a different style link: when feeding they are pushed from the rear, on the 1919 they are pulled out from the rear. Some people have reportedly been able to run M60 links if they are loaded upside down and backwards, but I wouldn't count on it working reliably. The Israeli .308 links are kind of pricey at around $70 per thousand, but the .30 cal links are cheaper at about $20 or less per thousand.
gunslinger308 0
Aren't those guns chambered in 30-06? How do ya afford to shoot em? I remember an add to swap em over to 8mm. Is this feasable on the money/and gun modification issues?

Is this feasable on the money/and gun modification issues? they can be had in 308 which is standard for the ohio rapid fire guns 30-06 or 8mm
