It is a tough choice, isn't it? I thought, "the gunner" looks good... but would "the pro" do a slightly better job of dissipating recoil? Then again "the judge" is a less conventional design.. could it work better? I still can't decide.

I like the looks of "The Gunner".

Greg, I assume you've tested these. Did any one of them show more felt recoil reduction over the others? Or are they more of a "show" piece?

The Gunner is the only one I have had a chance to test and it did help on recoil. I hope to test the others this weekend.

Good to know, thanks. Looking forward to hearing how the others perform.

What are these brakes made from, steel or aluminum?

They look like parkerized steel to me.

I believe they are. I am checking on that.

I may have some in tomorrow. They are 12rd and sell for $56.95 They Polycarbonate is more expensive than the regular, but is much stronger.

I used them at a 3 gun match Sunday. My shotgun was the only one I did well with. Here is the shotgun results.

I want one with a pointy tip that will tear clothing and break skin, since there doesn't seem to be a straight forward way to mount a bayonet on these shotguns.

The TROMIX Shark Brake is definitely the one for you then.............

Believe me, it meets both those criteria !!!

It also gives you about a 15% to 20% reduction in recoil, too.........(to my own estimation)......

Greg carries those as well, listed on his site under TROMIX parts !!! They're bad-ass !!!!
