Patriot12 11
Whick is better a Tromix or Chaos piston pick? Is there any real advantage to owning each over a factory one?
Moe Zambeak 53
I don't know the differences between the 2 after market pucks, but the advantage of using either over the factory part, is that it is considered one more 922 compliant part.
ChileRelleno 7,071
No real difference in general construction, i.e. size/shape. The Tromix is discontinued IIRC. Both are 922r compliance parts, as defined by IZMASH, the puck is the Gas Piston. I just bought a Chaos puck from MAA. Edited April 2, 2009 by ChileRelleno

F1PRB22 0
and this one too .. . http://www.kingarmory.com/My_Homepage_Files/Page37.html New from KA is this 922r-compliant replacement tappet for Saiga shotguns. This unit is improved over the factory part in its anti-fouling design which is less prone to obstruction and goes more rounds between cleaning (designed to run up to 1000-2000+rds without cleaning). This part also increases the initial volume of the gas cylinder, improving cycling (especially with low brass shotshells). Precision machined from a solid piece of 4340 chrome-moly alloy and hardened, the KA-SG01 greatly improves the performance of the Saiga shotgun. This part will also fit the newer Saiga-20 shotgun KA-SG01 Improved Gas Tappet..........................................................$47.

veprk 12
I put in a kingarmory tappet last week and have had zero failures to extract on any of the bulk birshot from walmart. It was at about a 70% failure rate on a three hole gun.
