MoneyMaker 0
I am new to the saiga and have yet to shoot it yet but, is it normal that when you work the action on a new saiga 12 that it doesn't go all the way up and you have to bump it at the very top to completely close it? Also I know this has been asked before but what is easier on the gun gas setting 1 or gas setting 2? Thanks for all the info everybody.
G O B 3,516
Don't ride the bolt home. Pull it back and release it cleanly.
proal 0
yes, it is normal, you dnt have to eas the action on it, just let er go and it will fully close. setting 1 for high brass setting 2 for low brass you can try low brass on setting 1 but probly "fte" fail to eject Real hard on the gun shooting high brass on setting 2 hope i helped, i sure other peeps will chime in if i dnt explain well enough
hobbyshooter 59
Field strip the gun and grease up the contact points including the channel that the extractor rides up into when the bolt is closed. Just by doing that I was able to ride my bolt down to about 2" from being closed and it would still rack shut. ALTHOUGH: It's recommended to simply let the springs do their work. Pull it back and let it slam shut.
