The guy purchased the SKS as "brand new/unissued", stripped the laquer/oil? from the wood, resanded it, and just used tung oil on it. $159 from a semi-local dealer! I went to their website, http://www.samcoglobal.com/rifles.html, and saw they have Persian Mausers, among other things. Years ago, I had the pleasure of firing a Persian. It was *very* well made and solid. Iron sights @ 250m ! :-) And a Swede.. if it wasn't for the scarcity of ammo... Have to take a trip down to miami I think... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
