Norseman 0 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 Hey guys, I have the oportunity to become a full time Gunsmith, I have been doing part time and was offered a full time job doing it. I would have to quit my manufacturing job (which seems that the entire company is shipping to china) I really would like to hear from people have been doing it for a while, but everone's opinon is welcome. I have been building guns for 30 years...and am a class 7 manufacturer in the AR15 industry. We make a better living manufacturing than smithing. The cost of equipment is pretty high depending on what you plan to do. If your old job sucks or is going away...I might give it a spin Jim Quote Link to post Share on other sites
