Hi i live in England and here our standars saiga 12 mags are 8 rounds , in the new year i hope to start selling these to anyone who wants them on this forum. i need to check for a reliable supplier and then see what i can do. These mags are not cheap here in england but they seem near impossible to get unless you are LEO in the states i am hoping to sell them for a small proffit at £50 plus shipping.

if i can get this sorted out i will re-post with an ad in the wanted to sell section of this forum.

all the best

As an American citizen how do you think people will think about the price of £50 for 1 8 round mag plus shipping , is that very expensive for you guys???

please give me some feedback as if they are going to sell i will try to get some from my gun clubs shop sooner.

thanks

I looked at that sight and still didn't see anything, of course it is 2am so I might have missed something.

I did the US conversion for Assassin's mag, that's about $86....sounds pretty high, but of course it'll still sell if there is no other source.

Hi all , i have looked at that web site too and i also cant find anything , i could only find where it says about maximum mag capacity being 10 rounds unless the mag is pre-ban , it seems a grey area with shotguns.

I can actually fit 9 rounds into my magazines and they always feed and extract reliably giving me an all up payload of 10 rounds (9 in mag + 1 in chamber)

I know that under English law it would be ok for me to sell these mags abroad but i guess its down to the buyers to know the law in their own country/state as i note that some U.S gunshops have a disclaimer saying that you as the buyer are responsible for making sure that you are allowed to own the goods that you buy in the country you are buying from.

I am still waiting for a price and supply avaliability on the 8 round mags from my local shop and the price may be less (i hope so). It seems that some non LEO people on this forum already have some 8 round mags or are looking for them so if it is illegal why do they have them?

all feedback is thankfully recieved.

all the best all

I know your feelings of frustration with the law mate , we over here in England dont have it too good either as all fullbore rifled barrel weapons are banned in semi-auto mode but we can have smooth bored weapons with any capacity we like in semi or pump mode. all pistols and revolvers are now banned (except some with long barrels , black powder pistols etc) and our government tells us that it is to make England a safer place for the public , yeah well they should take away drugs and the guns will go too as a by product of the drugs trade.

I dont think any countries government can really give out sensible laws on firearms as the voting public hold the power and if the government feels it may loose control due to the sake of a firearms ban they will go for the ban no matter what.

Besides if you were bad people why would your government let you have guns , no matter 2 round capacity or 100 , it only takes 1 to kill.

Yeah, these rediculous rules we are forced to live under only affect the law abiding citizen, why would a criminal who kills people worry about whether his gun is preban or post ban, etc. Do you think he's afraid he may not have the correct number of US parts in his AK? The government regulated machineguns a long time ago, then high capacity mags, (under the allure that it isn't "sporting") who is to say that semi auto guns won't be next. If the government says you don't need a semi auto that holds 10 to hunt with, they might try to punish the law abiding citizen further with restricting him to bolt action of pump only. When is it going too far, how far must they go for every gun owner to agree that his rights are being violated???

Hi all

Iunderstand that £50 is quite a high price for you guys accross the water but these mags are not cheap here either. As of now i have no idea of how much interest their will be in these mags but if interest gets high then i will be asking my supplier for a discount if i buy more than one so that will allow me to pass on the discount to you guys to make things a little easier.

Saiga shotguns are not widespread in the U.K but they are out there and so are the mags , i have a supplier who originally imported the saiga 12c shotguns into the U.K and he has spare mags too so i am sorting out the state of supply with him.

Anyone who is interested should email me at the address below:-

Thanks to everyone who adds to this subject
