It seems a darker black than the matte black. I also like the Colt Gray but decided to go with Combat Black in the Self Lubricating. corbin 621 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 Mine was done by Dinzag a week or two back. He combined a flat black with (I think) HK black. It's not as matte finish as regular flat black, but it's not reflective either. A nice finish IMO. Pretty close to factory, but it appears to be more durable.
